It can be really easy to let the human tendency to procrastinate prevail, and push it off to find other things to do. Remember, your distance learning program will only be as good as you make it, so find effective ways to keep yourself on track and not get distracted by your environment. If you are a stay-at-home parent, consider doing your coursework during the children’s nap time, or when the children are in bed for the night. If you have a full time job (or even two), it may be tempting to just come home and relax in front of the TV, rather than do your homework.
